The meeting will start by the general elections followed by Ruth Tait's presentation.

Ruth will give a short demonstration of basic principles for getting artwork to look its best in digital reproduction, at minimal cost.

Doris Wionzek will show a variety of decorated Initials, from plain to whimsical. She will talk about lots of simple ways that you can ‘fancy-up’ a letter, and then you will have some time to experiment with these ideas. Please bring some practice paper, a pencil, an eraser, and some coloured pencils and markers.

Annual Holiday Card Swap

Whatever holiday you celebrate, create your cards (suggest 5 – 20) and bring them to the December meeting, where they will be ‘swapped’ for cards from other members. Your card must contain a Calligraphic element. All of your cards can be originals, or you can create 1 original and have it reproduced.
