Description:

Forget those machine made heavy textbooks and those paperback novels gathering dust on the shelf. Here is your opportunity to learn how to make your own charming, colourful and imaginative book structures, unique gifts and keepsakes and great ways of displaying your calligraphy.

You will learn how to make three (or more) different book designs that include the accordion, the Japanese stab-binding and the single section codex with text and/or illustration.

We will cover skills like planning the books, cutting, folding, scoring and decorating paper, plus sewing and gluing.

Start looking now for short poems, sayings, lists of favourite, things like flowers, foods, etc. that you might like to put into your books.
