The Calligraphic Society of Ottawa will be holding an exhibition of members’ works at the Main Branch of the Ottawa Public Library during the month of April 2018.

Participation:

• Our exhibit will be held at the Main Branch of the Ottawa Public Library on April 9–30 2018.

Eligibility:

• Entrants must be CSO members in good standing.
• Works that are to be hung at the exhibit must be suitably framed and ready to hang securely on a single hook.

Facility:

• Main Branch: Works will be hung in the art display area on the second floor.

Insurance:

• There is NO insurance on any works submitted for the exhibitions. Although measures are taken, neither the Calligraphy Society of Ottawa nor the Ottawa Public Library assumes liability damage for theft or damage to any works on display.

Deadline:

• General works: to allow time to prepare identification tags for the display in April, please submit the attached entry form no later than Saturday, March 17, 2018.

Delivery:

• Those who wish to exhibit at the Main Branch Library will have it transported by the exhibit coordinator. The works can be dropped off at the March or April CSO meetings.

Pick-up:

• Pick up your work at the May or June CSO meeting.

NOTE: If you need to pick up your work at a time during the exhibit, contact the exhibit coordinator.

ALSO:

• If you cannot make it for these times, please inform the exhibit coordinator well in advance, so other arrangements could be made, if possible.

Sale of Work:

• The exhibit coordinator will accept inquiries from potential buyers and forward to members.
