Description:

The pointed pen is a wonderful writing tool. Using nibs and inks, this course will teach the essentials of pointed pen calligraphy,. We will use both traditional scripts and modern contemporary letters to go beyond Copperplate. This skill and knowledge will open up the potential of the nib for many lettering projects. The course is suitable for both beginners to those wanting to increase their skill and knowledge. The course instructors will be Rick Draffin and Katie Noah, who are looking forward to sharing their experiences with students.

A basic supply list will be sent out to students. Some specialized pens, inks and papers will be supplied by the instructor.
