Description:

Join us for a 4-week course covering Italics. This course will be taught by Rick Draffin and George Gillam. The Italic script is an easily recognized script widely used in modern calligraphy. It originated in 14thcentury Italy as a quickly written and easily read script. It continues to evolve today into a versatile and beautiful example of calligraphy. This course will start from the traditional to teach a modern version using a broad edge pen. Brand new beginners or those with some previous experience will be welcomed.

Materials List:

For the first night, pencil and paper is all that is required. A supply list will be provided prior to the start of the course by email. The supply list will be discussed on April 22.

All levels of calligraphers welcome. From Beginners to Experienced.
